SAM Registration
New to SAM and need assistance getting started? We assist entities with the preparation process and getting registered in the System for Award Management database. Registration is required in order to bid on U.S. Federal contracts and/or apply for grants. Our specialists assist with every step of the process as required, as well as DUNS number registration and ensuring your entity is properly categorized as it pertains to the business being conducted. The selected NACIS (North American Cartographic Information Society) codes among many other things are key in properly setting up your new profile and ensuring that your entity’s registration is complete and accurate. For some, this can be a daunting process, both tedious and confusing. We make it painless as possible to get you registered, and up and running with little to no knowledge. SAM Renewal
Once registered, in order to continue to receive federal funding and awards, your registration must be updated annually. Existing SAM registrants who currently receive funding from the Federal Government know the importance of making sure their SAM registration is updated and active. If you are already familiar with the renewal process or have a dedicated person/department assigned to this task, then renewing your own SAM registration should be a fairly straightforward process for you. However, in other cases where that person may no longer be with the organization or you simply prefer a Renewal Specialist to handle this for you, USCA can assist. Certification Prep
USCA provides readiness and prep for the following certifications:
Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
Certification with the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), a private third-party that certifies minority-owned businesses on behalf of U.S. corporations or MBE certification through city, county, or state programs.
Women Business Enterprise (WBE)
Certification with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), a private third-party that certifies women-owned businesses on behalf of U.S. corporations or WBE certification through city, county, or state programs.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
Certification by U.S. Department of Transportation through state transportation authorities for minorities or women-owned businesses, or other socially and economically disadvantaged individuals such as persons with disabilities.
Business Development Program (8(a) or WOSB)
A program administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for small businesses owned by minorities or women who are socially and economically disadvantaged individuals or as a Women-owned Small Business.
